Therapeutic Approach
I'm an accredited Core Process Psychotherapist and Supervisor, with 40 years experience. I am on the list of trainee supervisors at the Karuna Institute.
My approach is rooted in gentle and kind encouragement to encourage a compassionate connection between the different parts within us that seek to be heard, always doing so with the intention of holding curiosity, loving kindness and compassion.
Developing a witness consciousness is the key to navigating strong emotions without overwhelm. Creation of a mindful approach can really be truly helpful to us in our lives.
I welcome clients whose work may include wanting to explore their identity and sense of belonging and being in the world.
This includes welcoming individuals who feel marginalised due to their sexuality, gender, skin colour, hypersensitivity, class, neurodivergence, or any way they might experience a sense of absence of belonging..
If you are experiencing a significant transition or change of lifestyle, this would be a good time to reach out for therapeutic support.
I am used to working with people who choose to approach therapy for a range of issues.
Whether you are searching for greater clarity within yourself and for more peace at the heart of who you are, and would like to have someone be there to travel with you, do get in touch.
